If I ran my finger over this blog I would be pulling it away with a thick layer of dust on it. We’ve been quiet for several months but I promise you we have not slowed down a bit! Fantastic summer weather coupled with a booming real estate market has kept our business very busy, however another big development on the home front has left us with very little time for updates! We welcomed our daughter, Rebecca Guinevere Elias to our family on February 1st, 2016 at 3:17pm. The moment was precious and surreal and it feels like a lifetime ago now! The smallest of our three babies weighed in at 7lbs 15oz and was the fairest of them all.

For the first time since welcoming children, we knew what our little girl’s name would be before she was born (though we didn’t actually know it was a girl until she arrived). Rebecca means “captivating” or “servant of God”. The former is certainly what she’s been to us but the latter is our prayer for her life.

Since Noah so desperately wanted a sister, we couldn’t wait to bring her home and introduce her to her two big brothers. They’ve hardly left her side ever since. Having three children aged four and under has been both hectic and sanctifying but there isn’t a single day that we’re not thankful. They are a gift in our lives. They teach us daily what innocence and love looks like. They remind us to slow down and enjoy these years. They give new purpose to our business as it allows us the freedom to spend more time with them now, when it counts the most. To say we are grateful would be such an understatement.

Photographing Rebecca has been exciting in a whole new way! She’s always been such a patient happy little lady and it’s so much more fun to play dress up with a little girl.

Rebecca is now 8 months old and we’re so thrilled to fire up the blog again beginning with her introduction.
